Han Hyo-joo’s Hilarious and Funny Moments in Running Man
Han Hyo-joo’s first appearance in Running Man is in episode 123, which was broadcast on 9 December, 2012. In that episode, the actress came with actor Go Soo, as the part of their movie promotion for Bandage. Her first mission is to pick two Running Man cast members to be on her team. Along with Go Soo, Han Hyo-joo picked random numbers, though too quickly, as we might say. It turned out that Yoo Jae-suk and Kang Gary were her teammates. Before meeting with Gary, Han Hyo-joo decided to be sneaky as she came up behind him and covered his eyes. The cast are quickly divided into three teams: Han Hyo-joo’s team, which wore purple coats, Go Soo’s team, which wore blue coats, and Song Ji-hyo’s team, which wore yellow coats. For their first game, they needed to spin 10 times (7 for the ladies), jump the bales of hay and grab a radish. Because she’s tall, Han Hyo-joo jumped faster than Song Ji-hyo, and ended up winning the round. However, Han Hyo-joo’s victory soon vanished when she had to face off with Haha to reach the radishes, she was pushed to the ground by the comedian. Though insisting she would have revenge on him, Han Hyo-joo failed to do so as Haha finished the match first. Feeling a little annoyed, Han Hyo-joo bristled in disbelief, which made the other male cast members kick and punch Haha for treating their female guest that way. Later, when the PD (Program Director) announced that the Blue team had a beautiful victory, Han Hyo-joo exclaimed sarcastically, “Beautiful!”. The second mission is to get a kimchi recipe, but beforehand they had to shop for kimchi ingredients. What makes the match interesting is that someone on each team had to sacrifice getting their hair permed. Along with Lee Kwang-soo and Haha, Han Hyo-joo volunteered to sit down at the salon and get the perm. Fortunately, Han Hyo-joo’s team finished the mission the earliest, resulting in her hair getting the half-done perm. The mission to make kimchi got tougher, as Han Hyo-joo’s team as the other teams kept stealing their stash of cabbage. The tough competition exhausted the actress, who ended up looking at the sky while asking in a dreamy tone, “Is it snowing?”, which worried her teammate Gary, “Are you seeing things now?!” Despite her tired state, Haha stil teased Han Hyo-joo, and offered to cut her team’s radishes, which the actress rejected, “No thanks”. In addition, Haha offered a taste to Han Hyo-joo, but ended up sticking it in his own mouth, which took her by surprise. In spite of winning the kimchi recipe challenge, Han Hyo-joo’s team lost several votes by Song Ji-hyo’s team. As the show was closing, Han Hyo-joo once again exclaimed, “Beautiful!”, concluding the most tiring day of her life.
