Controversies Behind The Show
Although We Got Married is a variety show based on a romantic and married life concept, the controversy behind it was complicated. At the end of March, 2010, We Got Married stopped airing due to a labor strike and a tragedy of ROKS The Cheonan, which caused many episodes of 2AM’s Jo Kwon & BEG’s Ga-in, and CNBLUE’s Yonghwa and SNSD’s Seohyun to be delayed more than the normal 1-2 weeks from the original schedule. The next season, on We Got Married Season 4, other additional cast appeared, such as MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and Actress Oh Yeon-seo. Back in the day, Oh Yeon-seo was paired as a couple with Lee Jang-woo in the same drama, but MBC made MBLAQ’s Lee Joon to be Oh Yeon-seo’s partner, although in real life Oh Yeon-seo was dating Lee Jang-woo. The episode of MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and Actress Oh Yeon-seo was aired around 2012-2013 and their virtual wedding on We Got Married Season 4 was questionable due to Oh Yeon-seo’s real life relationship and led to a fan war between their fans. Oh Yeon-seo’s fans were furious and asked her to leave We Got Married Season 4.
