Get to Know Kim Dong-wan’s Family
Although he has never really exposed the details of his family background, it has been known to the public that Kim Dong-wan is originally an only child. However, his parents, Kim Young-jin and Park Gwe-mi, divorced when he was young, meaning that he grew up without his father, who remarried. In addition, the financial status of Kim Dong-wan’s family before his debut was not exactly fortunate either, so he had to put up with his schoolmates ridiculing him. Kim Dong-wan once said that he even had to stay in a rented basement room, and took the free rice that was meant for the needy.
