He made his first debut as a child actor with KBS2’s Hwarang Fighter Maru historical drama in 2006. He has been acknowledged for his acting ability by doing many works such as historical dramas. During the first 4 years, being as a child actor was too hard for him. But he didn’t give up. Finally his hard work paid off as he has appeared many dramas all this time. He has appeared in various historical dramas as the younger version of notable figures and few of the historical dramas he played was when he was under 20s. The interest thing is he got stuck in the same role as the younger version of Prince Gwanghae from MBC’s Jung-Yi, Goddess of Fire (2013) drama to KBS2’s The Jingbirok: A Memoir of Imjin War (2015) drama. In 2013, he took on his first adult role in tvN’s Who Are You? (2013) drama. The reason he entered the entertainment world was because he felt he did not have the special ability like others, but he thought he could be someone extraordinary if he worked hard in acting. He finally entered university in 2015 when he was 22 years old (in International age) after failed to enter university twice. His university problem had become quite an issue and was even nicknamed “Noh Young-hak University”. He said that he is the kind of person that gains weight really fast, but can lose it easily as well. Whenever he watches a movie, he can easily eat two large-sized cups of popcorn. He also eats a whole plate of salmon at family restaurants. He has an appetite which is beyond any comprehension. Such a big eater he is! He is confident in running because he has a great stamina. He was always ahead of the runner in second place by one lap. He usually mediates for about an hour or two before he goes to sleep.
