In 2013, Song Jae-hee was reportedly dating a former announcer and television personality, Kim Kyung-ran. They started dating in April, 2013, after meeting at a church in Seoul. The reason he dated her is because Kim Kyung-ran is religious, which is part of his ideal type. After breaking up with Kim Kyung-ran in 2014, he eventually married a South Korean actress, Ji So-yeon in a private wedding ceremony. They dated for 2 months before they announced their decision to marry to the public. He proposed to her in an aula, where he knelt down in front of her and asked her to marry him. Ji So-yeon uploaded her photo, holding hands with him, through her Instagram with a caption of ‘7 September 2017’, which was their marriage date. Before the photo went up, Song Jae-hee surprised the crew and cast of ‘Law of the Jungle in Komodo’ by spilling the news to his fellow actor, Lee Wan, and all the crew while they were filming at that time.
