Career
Lee has been chosen to be a PR ambassador several times. The first time she was chosen as an ambassador was at Daegu Universiade Competition Ambassador in 2003. Two years later, she was chosen as Public Relations Ambassador of Life Sharing Practice Headquarters. In the same year, she was chosen as a main model for Andre Kim Eco-Style Charity Fashion Show. In 2007, she was an ambassador of Seoul Gangnam District and Ambassador of PR. In 2009, she became a judge for Seoul International Short Film Festival. In 2010, she was chosen as 2nd Ambassador of Seoul International Short Film Festival. She also was chosen as Beautiful Store PR Ambassador in 2014.

Lee Se-eun has starred in 17 dramas since her debut in 1999. She began her career as a drama actress in 2000. At that time, she acted in MBC’s drama Some Like It Hot. In 2002, she appeared in three dramas. She acted as Yoon Hee-soo in Love Rollercoaster, as Namiko in Rustic Period, and as Lee Se-eun in Zoo People. In 2003, she appeared in the popular drama Dae Jang Geum, also known as Jewel in the Palace, where she acted as Park Yeol-yi. It is a historical drama about an orphaned kitchen cook who went on to become the king’s first female physician. In a time when women held little influence in society, young apprentice cook Jang-geum strived to learn the secrets of Korean cooking and medicine in order to cure the King of his various ailments. It is based on the true story of Jang-geum, the first female royal physician of the Joseon Dynasty. In 2006, she gained popularity through a drama called Yeon Gaesomun. She acted as Go So-yeon.
