T-ARA’s Debut Date
T-ARA made their official debut was on MBC Radio Talk Show on July 29, 2009. T-ARA’s debut formation was Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon, Boram, Soyeon and Qri and their first performance was on Mnet M Countdown on July 30, 2009. They performed “Lie” and “Wanna Play” from their debut single. Although there were many controversies over the use of lipsynching, T-ARA promise to give a live performance in the future.

T-ARA Debut Album
T-ARA released ‘Absolute First Album’ as their debut studio album on November 27, 2009. Although “Like The First Time” gained the most votes for album title track, “Bo Beep Bo Beep” gained more popularity and made T-ARA win their first award at 24th Golden Disk Awards as ‘Rookie of the Year’ along with 4Minute. The album consisted of the previous single that had been released such as “T.T.L 1 & 2” which featured Supernova and their debut songs “Lie” and “Wanna Play?“
