On SBS powerFM’s Kim Chang Ryul’s Old School, Eunji got a question regarding the secret to stay away from dating rumor. To the listeners’ surprise, Eunji tactfully avoided the question by answering in nonsense a manner, “Because we are a group that loves music.” Despite not denying that all the members of Apink have experienced falling in love, Eunji emphasized that the group will leave it (their love life) to everyone’s imagination because what matters to Apink is their fans whom they love so much. Although not considered a dating scandal, Apink also has a rumor that revolves around the boy group EXO. On December 2013, the audio record of Apink and EXO’s online game conversation circulated online. It started when a post was uploaded with an audio file and a message that said the audio was a recording of an inappropriate conversation between Apink and EXO, supposedly held between two Apink members and two EXO members while playing a popular online game. According to No Cut News, Apink Bomi and EXO Sehun’s name appeared in the playful and casual conversation, as the people in the audio heatedly play the online game. Both Apink and EXO’s agency have responded to this controversy. Apink’s home representative, Plan A Entertainment stated that Apink is not the female voice in the audio and Apink only plays simple mobile games while they are traveling between schedules. Moreover, Plan A Entertainment emphasized that the members of Apink don’t even have contact with EXO. On the other hand, EXO’s home representative, SM entertainment affirmed that the conversation happened between EXO and non-celebrity acquaintances.
Apink Members Boyfriend
Currently, none of the Apink members have a boyfriend. As stated by Hayoung on the broadcast of Law of the Jungle in Papua New Guinea, she does not have someone special at the moment and her agency does not have any regulations regarding dating. On March 2015, a video of Eunji’s declaration of having foreign boyfriend went viral. In the video, Eunji who was about to pass through the security checkpoint in the airport. After the date session ended, Jinwoon concluded that it was more fun than he expected it to be and wondered whether there was a possibility to be a permanent member of the show. Contrastly, Chorong was alleged dating after her debut with Apink. On a special segment on Weekly Idol when Apink was promoting repackage title track ‘LUV’, the MC of the show Jung Hyungdon and Defconn asked Chorong a question about whether there is a man who wanted to date her that year while putting her hand on a liar detector. Chorong who was afraid of the machine instantly said no and as a result, she was electrified by the machine. Apink Chorong and EXO Suho
Many fans wish that the leaders of the 2.5 generation Kpop groups, that is Chorong of Apink and Suho of EXO, would become a couple as they share similarities, such as; they were born in the year of 1991, they have the most petite figure on their respective groups, and have an innocent and pure image. Rumor has it that Chorong and Suho were seen talking and laughing together as if they were really close on the backstage at MBC Gayo Daejun in 2012. In that occasion, Chorong who was the last person to get off the stage was waited for by Suho. The pairing has also had several interactions that have made their fans overjoyed. On MBC Idol Star Athletic Championship (ISAC), Chorong and Suho were seen standing near each other. Though not interacting, fans already feel satisfied to see both of them share a close space. Besides Suho, Chorong is also being paired with the former EXO member, Luhan. Besides Woohyun, Chorong is also paired with the former INFINITE member, Hoya. On January 2016, Chorong posted the selfies of BTOB Changsub, Hoya, and herself. Many fans were surprised to acknowledge Chorong’s relationship with Hoya because as far as they know, Hoya’s only relationship to Apink is Eunji. Later, the fans were reminded of one particular scene in Apink and INFINITE’s dog reality show ‘Birth of a Family’ when Chorong who brought a white puppy. It is known that Chorong’s ultimate guy friend is Changsub. Their friendship is often being called the friendship that is on the border of the friend-zone. Here are some of the pictures that prove their closeness! On Yang Nam Show, both Chorong and Changsub have verified their strong friendship. On the first occasion, Chorong had to ascertain her status as a good person through a segment called ‘Friend, Make My Wish Come True’. Chorong asked Changsub to lend her 3,000,000 KRW (Rp 30,000,000) for a family issue that arose, yet she does not want to tell Apink members about it. Instead of mulling over the huge amount, Changsub straight away asked Chorong to give the details of her bank number. When Chorong asked him to lend her more 2,000,000 KRW (Rp. 20,000,000), Changsub seemed surprised and said that Chorong might pay him back with the addition of twenty cups of coffee. On the second occasion, Changsub is the one who had to prove his relationship with Chorong by asking her to be his first-day date when she came to his musical drama. Instead of causing Chorong to be excited by his sudden date request, Changsub was confused by Chorong’s question and wondered whether he had feelings for her. The other BTOB member who is paired up with Chorong is Sungjae. It is known that both Chorong and Sungjae starred in a drama titled ‘Plus Nine Boys’. Their relationship in the drama is not mere friends as Chorong and Sungjae even kissed in one of the scenes. On BTOB’s variety show ‘The Beat’, Changsub who took over as MC got a chance to interview Sungjae regarding his library kiss scene with Chorong which became a hot topic after it was aired. This rumor also escalated quickly as on one occasion when EXO visited School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA) as a surprise guest, a female student asked Chen directly whether Chen really dates Bomi or not. Apink Eunji and Seo In Guk
It is hard to refute that Eunji’s most popular partner is Seo In Guk. Eunji met Seo In Guk for the first time through Reply 1997 where both of them became the main characters in the drama. It was not only acting, but Eunji and Seo In Guk also sang two songs for Reply 1997’s soundtrack. Like typical main characters of Korean dramas, Eunji and Seo In Guk have a love line that has developed from their status as childhood friends.
