EXO’s Kai and f(x)’s Krystal
Long before the revelation of their dating relationship, Kai and Krystal have been tied by international shippers (people who want a pair of celebrities to be a real couple) due to their similar vibe and traits. In addition, Kai was caught several times stealing glances at Krystal at SM Town’s concert, KBS2’s Music Bank, and other music events. He has also worn the same fashion items as Krystal for several occasions. Kai and Krystal also had a photo shoot together for f(x)’s album Pink Tape and a magazine photo shoot for W along with SHINee’s Taemin. Their intimate distance during the photo shoots made many fans jealous whereas their shippers, called Arcadians, felt elated and praised how they match each other well. The hope of Kai and Krystal’s shippers turned out to be true on April 1, 2016, when SM Entertainment confirmed Dispatch’s photo release from the day prior. In these pictures, shown below, Kai and Krystal were seen on a secret date on February 17. They were going to dine at a crab restaurant that Krystal often goes to with her sister, SNSD’s former member Jessica Jung.
