Bangtan Boys or Bangtan Sonyeodan (Bulletproof Boy Scouts), debuted on June 12, 2013 with the song “No More Dream” from their first album. It was all the fans’ (A.R.M.Y) promotion of the group that earned them the Top Social Artist award, and won the first American award from their “Wings” album on the Billboard charts which marks their success as a group.

After wrapping up the youth-themed “Most Beautiful Moment in Life” trilogy with “Young Forever”, BTS started a new series with their sophomore album, “Wings”. There are seven solo songs for each respective member, each one aligning individually with his own personal taste and outlook on life in this album. “Wings” is the 2nd korean studio album by BTS and was released on October 10, 2016 by Big Hit Entertainment. “Wings” received mostly positive reviews from critics, for tackling social issues such as mental health and female empowerment. The album also topped Billboard‘s “10 Best K-Pop Albums 2016” list.
