BTS at SHINee’s Jonghyun’s Funeral
BTS and SHINee really have a close relationship as groups even though they come from different agencies. No wonder, when the news of Jonghyun’s death spread online on December 18th, 2017, BTS went to the funeral and paid respect to Jonghyun for the last time.The burial was held days later, on December 21st, 2018, in which SHINee and Super Junior members held the coffin. Before that, Jonghyun’s family held three days of mourning in a funeral home. There, Jonghyun’s relatives, friends, as well as celebrity friends came to mourn. BTS members were among the celebrities that attended the funeral to pay their last tribute to Jonghyun.BTS arrived at the funeral home on December 19th, 2017. As one of the juniors of SHINee, BTS admitted that they were shocked to learn the fact that Jonghyun passed away on December 18th, 2017, because of suicide.
