Kim Sae-ron and Kim Min-jae were presenters of Show! Music Core, an MBC music television program. The show airs live every Saturday. Kim Sae-ron and Kim Min-jae Co-hosting Music Core
Kim Sae-ron and Kim Min-jae’s first episode as the presenters aired on November 21st, 2015. The show began with Brown Eyed Girls pretending to be the new presenters and led to a special performance of GFriend’s “Me Gustas Tu” by new presenters Kim Sae-ron and Kim Min-jae. Kim Sae-ron showed her singing and dancing skills, while Kim Min-jae showed his dancing, rapping and singing skills. Check out their performance below:
Kim Sae-ron and Kim Min-jae worked well together for about 10 months. They got compliments on their great chemistry. Kim Min-jae was the first to leave the show as he would be focusing on his acting career. His last episode as the presenter aired on September 24th, 2016. After the final performance, Kim Sae-ron and Kim Min-jae announced his departure from the show and officially said goodbye. In his speech, he thanked Kim Sae-ron, all the writers, producers, and staff members who work on Music Core as well as viewers and his fans. He promised to be back with a good project and a better image. After the closing remark of the show, Kim Sae-ron shed tears. Kim Min-jae and Red Velvet’s Yeri were consoling her. Kim Sae-ron continued to be one of the presenters along with ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo and actress Lee Soo-min. Her last episode in the show aired on April 15th, 2017.
Reunion After Music Core
Kim Sae-ron showed off her close relationship with Kim Min-jae through her Instagram post. On February 7th, 2017, Kim Sae-ron uploaded a photo with Kim Min-jae. In the picture, the two of them looked very close to each other. Kim Sae-ron was posing with a V-sign, while Kim Min-jae gazed at the camera. However, the post is no longer available on her Instagram.
Kim Sae-ron also showed off her close relationship with Kim Min-jae when she made a video call with him on the March 13th, 2018, episode of tvN’s Snail Hotel. While taking a break in her room, Kim Sae-ron called Kim Min-jae. She told him that she was in Gangwon-do for a variety show filming and revealed that she met one of her favorite singers, Sunwoo Jungah. Kim Min-jae expressed his envy and jokingly asked if he could go there in place of her. The two continued making jokes, showing off their tight bond.

Soon after, she returned the favor by sending him a drinking truck in his new film, Love+Sling, shooting location. Kim Sae-ron is starring in a new TV Chosun drama Leverage. The series is a remake of the U.S. TNT series Leverage. The series is about a former top insurance investigator who turns into a con man and teams up with the best con artists to get revenge on the wealthy and corrupt. Kim Sae-ron acts as Go Na-byul, a reckless and feisty thief. Her co-stars are Lee Dong-gun, Jeong Hye-bin, Kim Kwon, and Yeo Hoe-hyun. The series premieres on October 13th, 2019, at 21:30 KST. Kim Min-jae is starring in a new JTBC drama Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency. The series is based on the novel of the same title. The story is about a king who seeks out Joseon’s top matchmaking agency Flower Crew in order to protect his first love. Kim Min-jae acts as Ma Hoon, the leader and the best matchmaker of the crew. His co-stars are Gong Seung-yeon, Seo Ji-hoon, and Park Ji-hoon. The series aires on Mondays and Tuesdays at 21:30 KST from September 16th, 2019.
