Career
Pre-Debut
In early 2000, Park Jung-soo was recruited by the SM Entertainment agency located in Myeong-dong. He was asked to audition for the 2000 Starlight Casting System, and then entered SM Entertainment as a trainee that same year. The same year, Leeteuk was chosen to do cameo roles for a very short time in the MBC Korean drama All About Eve. In 2000 he was also chosen to be a model for Pepsi. Then, he was put into a five-member boy band along with the other Super Junior members.
Debut
On November 6, 2005, Leeteuk debuted as a member of Super Junior on SBS’s Popular Songs. Leeteuk was chosen to be the leader of Super Junior, to lead and guide his group. Since debuting with Super Junior members, Leeteuk has been officially chosen as the MC for MNET’s M! Countdown along with two other members of Super Junior, Kangin and Shindong. However, from the end of 2006, he has been replaced by Eunhyuk. Leeteuk is also a DJ for KBS Super Junior Kiss the Radio since August 21, 2006, along with his mate from the group, Eunhyuk. In December 2007, Leeteuk got his own program and hosted the Leeteuk’s Love Fighter program, a show that helped in solving the issues of problematic couples. In early 2007, Leeteuk was set to become a member of the Super Junior Happy sub-unit and also Super Junior-T by SM Entertainment.
