Netters still regret Pentagon’s Jinho did not debut with EXO
EXO debuted in 2012 as a 12-member group divided into 2 subunits, EXO-K and EXO-M. When the members were introduced through teaser videos, news circulated that Jinho, who had joined SM the Ballad, would debut together with the rest of the members of EXO. Jinho’s experience with SM the Ballad (at that time he still carried the name Jino) in 2010 made some fans believe that he would debut as one of the members of EXO. But in fact, from the 12 members, who debuted as part of EXO, there was no name for Jinho even though he was mentioned as one of the strongest candidates for debuting along with the other EXO members. Not being debuted with EXO and no longer being part of SM the Ballad who made a comeback with a new formation in 2014, Jinho finally left SM Entertainment. The 1992-born guy then debuted as a Pentagon member in 2016. Until now, netters are still wondering why Jinho did not debut with EXO even though he once revealed that the reason for leaving SM Entertainment was because of differences in perspective. Nevertheless, some netizens suspect that he is not suitable for EXO’s image and his position has been replaced by other trainees. “I admire him for his beautiful voice. I waited for his debut and I thought that he will debut at SM Entertainment. Too bad,” commented a netter. “If he wants to be a little more patient to wait a little while later he can debut at the Big 3 agency as an NCT member but that is his choice,” another netter said. “I heard that he didn’t make a debut because his voice type is the same as one of EXO’s vocalists and his image is not suitable. I support you!” added yet another. But even though it’s regrettable that he didn’t debut at the Big 3 agency, Jinho now enjoys his role as the main vocalist of Pentagon and also the oldest member. In fact, according to some other netizens, he shines more as a main vocalist of the 10-member group formed by Cube Entertainment.
