List Girl’s Day’s Songs
Girl’s Day started their career as a five-member group on 9 July 2010 by officially releasing their first mini-album entitled Girl’s Day Party #1 which contains five tracks, such as Tilt My Head which became the title track, SHUPPY SHUPPY, CONTROL, and the instrumental version of Tilt My Head and SHUPPY SHUPPY. Girl’s Day released their first digital single Girl’s Day Party #2 featuring Nothing Lasts Forever and its instrumental version. This was Girl’s Day’s first release after the restructuring of its formation when Jisun and Ji-in left the group, and were replaced by Yura and Hyeri. Nothing Lasts Forever is Girl’s Day first experimental track, as its sound is in the blaring rock genre which the listeners might find exhilarating to jam to. Let’s tune in!
Fast forward to March 2011, Girl’s Day came back with Girl’s Day Party #3 featuring Twinkle Twinkle and its instrumental version. Twinkle Twinkle successfully ranked fourth on Melon’s digital monthly chart one month later and overall, the song was placed in 39th on the service’s annual chart. It is no wonder that Twinkle Twinkle earned Girl’s Day more fame because the song is bubbly, and the music video is cute and entertaining to watch. You may check it out below!
Four months later, Girl’s Day released their second mini-album titled Everyday, and listed Hug Me Once which became the title track, Young Love, Twinkle Twinkle, and the instrumental version of Hug Me Once. In this period, Girl’s Day gained many new fans because of their interactive music videos where the viewers are able to choose which Girl’s Day member will be the main character of the music video’s plot. In September 2011, Girl’s Day released Girl’s Day Party #4 with Don’t Flirt! as the title track, and its alternative version which is mixed by DJ Stereo Club. Just like the two previous tracks, Don’t Flirt! was ranked in the top 50 of Melon’s digital monthly chart. Seven months later, Girl’s Day released their third mini-album Everyday #2 which contained five tracks, such as Oh! My God which became the title track, Two Of Us, Don’t Flirt!, Telepathy, and the instrumental version of Oh! My God. In October 2012, Girl’s Day released their fourth digital single Girl’s Day Party #5 with Don’t Forget Me and its instrumental version. This is Girl’s Day’s first release as a quartet girl group after Jihae decided to leave the group.
