Dream Catcher was originally formed under the name Minx, consisting of five members: JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, and Dami. They released their debut single “Why Did You Come to My Home?” on September 18th, 2014. On November 28th, 2016, Happy Face Entertainment announced that there is going to be a change in the line-up of the band, adding two new members, namely Handong and Gahyeon, and also MINX is now going to be called Dream Catcher. While the fandom name of DreamCatcher is called Insomnia. The new band formation was established with the release of the single “Chase Me” featuring Rock/Metal/Dance with a horror theme that is far different from the cute image of MINX.
