All about ONEUS members’ pre-debut and debut
Before ONEUS made its debut, a few of the members had appeared in television programs, especially survival programs. Some of them had made their appearance in Mnet’s Produce 101, JTBC’s MIXNINE, and a project made by RBW Entertainment known as RBW Boys. Even though some of the members had already appeared in television programs, the group officially debuted together under the name ONEUS on January 9th, 2019, with “Valkyrie” as the lead single and Light Us as the debut EP. Produce 101
In the second season of Produce 101, three members of ONEUS participated: Seo-ho, Geon-hee, and Hwan-woong. Unfortunately, the three of them couldn’t make it to the final stage of the program. Seo-ho was eliminated quite early as his final rank was 94th. Here is a video of RBW Entertainment trainees’ first performance in Produce 101:
Hwan-woong managed to last longer as he placed 42nd and had a chance to perform twice. He sang Shinee’s “Noona Is So Pretty” and performed Flo Rida’s “Right Round” for a dance position. Here is a video of his performance in Produce 101:
Meanwhile, Geon-hee’s final rank was 33rd, and he had three performances in Produce 101. He sang Shinee’s “Noona is So Pretty,” performed BoA’s “Amazing Kiss” for a vocal position, and performed “Oh Little Girl” for concept evaluation. MIXNINE
There are two members of ONEUS who have participated in MIXNINE, Ravn, and Seo-ho. After getting eliminated quite early in Produce 101, Seo-ho participated in MIXNINE and was placed in a higher rank than the previous program. At that time, Seo-ho ranked 17th, while Ravn ranked 27th. You can find Seo-ho in a performance where the contestants sang TVXQ’s “Love In the Ice,” while Ravn in Gain’s “Paradise Lost.” You can see their performances in MIXNINE below:
RBW Boys
RBW Boys is a project made by RBW Entertainment to launch a new group. They had to go through a project titled RBW Trainee Real Life: We Will Debut. The project began with a monthly evaluation and later revealed each step of a boy group’s debut process, including practice, training, and daily lives, through Naver’s V Live and RBW Entertainment’s official YouTube account. Ravn is one of the members of ONEUS who appeared in MIXNINE as a contestant. At that time, he secured his position at rank 27. He used to work as a child model and a child actor even though he only starred as an extra. Before joining RBW Entertainment, he used to be a trainee of JYP Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and Plan A Entertainment. He even ranked 2nd at JYP’s audition in 2016. He was also supposed to debut as a member of Victon but eventually left the company. His stage name is inspired by an X-Men hero who he likes, Mystique Raven. He has an older sister, and he keeps a dog named Sunny. His hobby is doodling, and he can speak Japanese fluently. Yongin, South Korea, is the place where Ravn was born. Ravn has one big sister. Ravn used to be a trainee of JYP Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and Plan A. Ravn was supposed to and almost debuted as a member of Victon, but he left the company.

Seo-ho is another member of ONEUS who has made a television appearance. He has participated not only in one survival program but two: Produce 101 and MIXNINE. In Produce 101, his final rank was 94, while in MIXNINE, he managed to rank 17th. He was supposed to use his stage name Xion, but in the end, he decided to use Seo-ho as his stage name. He has an older sister, and his hobbies are playing football and basketball. He also used to train Hapkido. According to him, his attractive points are his sweet vocals and eye smile. Meanwhile, according to Leedo and Xion, he is very easygoing and likes to joke around.

What is the difference between ONEUS and ONEWE?
ONEUS and ONEWE are two different groups that can confuse you because of the name’s similarity. Even though these two groups have similar names and debuted under the same company RBW, still, they are two different groups. ONEWE is a group that was formed first under RBW on August 13th, 2015, with “Butterfly, Find A Flower” as the digital single. Originally, the group was formed under the name M.A.S 0094 (Make a Sound 0094), but then they changed the name to ONEWE and re-debuted on May 13th, 2019. The group consists of five members Yonghoon, Kanghyun, Harin, Dongmyeong, and CyA. If ONEWE is a band, then ONEUS is a boy band under RBW who made their debut on January 9th, 2019. It consists of six members Ravn, Seoho, Leedo, Geonhee, Hwanwoong, and Xion. Xion and ONEWE Dongmyeong are twin brothers, Dongmyeon is the older one by one minute. So, the difference between ONEWE and ONEUS is in the concept of the group. ONEWE is a band, while ONEUS is a boy band.
Who is the ONEUS leader, and why was he chosen as a leader?

In ONEUS, there is no specific and fixed information about who is the leader of the group.
