In July 2015, Bora was asked about this particular question, including marriage, when she participated in KBS’s 1 vs. 100. She said that she wants to get married quickly even though her mother always tells her to not tie the knot at such a young age (according to the Korean age calculation, Bora was 27 years old at that time). Regarding dating, Bora said that even though she has admired actor Song Joong Ki since her debut time with girl group SISTAR, she would not date him even if he asked her personally because she is afraid that her fantasy of him would be ruined. So, she prefers the way it is now with her sometimes talking on the phone with him on broadcasts and occasionally meeting him outside of broadcasts.

In June 2017, the initial curiosity of fans and the public about Bora’s dating life is finally satisfied when she and BIGSTAR’s Feeldog are revealed to be in a relationship. The couple reportedly had been dating for six months after meeting and getting close on Mnet’s dancing show Hit the Stage. Besides getting close after joining the same program, we observed that Bora and Feeldog have a similar environment and friends, namely INFINITE’s Sunggyu who is Bora’s close friend and ex-INFINITE’s Hoya, which helped them transition from friends to lovers as the time went by. When he became one of the guests on MBC’s Ranking Show 1, 2, 3, Feeldog was asked by the MC about Bora’s contact name on his cellphone, which he answered by saying that he just saved Bora’s number as ‘noona’ (the term for an older woman when addressed by a younger man).
