Lee Jun-ki is a South Korean actor, singer, and dancer-model. He was born in Busan, South Korea on April 17th, 1982. People started to acknowledge him after his first leading role playing a clown in the movie The King and the Clown in 2005. Lee Jun-ki learned and practiced different types of martial arts during his spare time. In 2016, Lee Jun-ki was cast for the leading role of Wang Seo in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. He is the 4th King of the Goryeo Dynasty who actually was born in 925 and died in 975. He has been portrayed as a bloody tyrant. However, some now see Wang Seo as a great reformer and to his reign, they attribute the laying of the foundation of Goryeo which lasted for 475 years. In this story, Wang Seo deeply fell in love with the female lead character, Hae Soo (played by singer IU) but then their love story turned into a tragic one. As he lost his beloved Hae Soo, he made a promise that he will find his Hae Soo until the edge of the world while keeping himself in a lonely palace, all alone.
Joo Won as Gyeon Woo in My Sassy Girl
Joo Won, or Moon Joo-won, is a South Korean actor and singer. He was born in Seoul, South Korea on September 30th, 1987. Joo Won took education at Kaywon High School of Arts, Sungkyunkwan University in Film and Television major, and Konkuk University as he took Graduate School of Mass Communication. Lately, on February 5th, 2019, Joo Won was discharged from the military after completing 21 months of mandatory military services. In the Korean historical drama My Sassy Girl from 2017, Joo Won was cast in the leading role of Gyeon Woo, a cold city scholar who was known as “Joseon’s National Treasure.” But then he fell in love with the sassy princess and the female leading role Hye-myung (played by Oh Yeon-seo). Their love story turned into a funny and complex one because of their family’s background story and people who want to destroy them. But then, they made it and their story become a happy ending love story.
Yoo Seung-ho as Crown Prince Lee Sun in Ruler: Master of the Mask
Yoo Seung-ho is a South Korean actor and model who was born in Incheon on August 17th, 1993. Yoo Seung-ho first started his career in show business as a child actor in 1999. His height is 175 cm and his blood type is A. Yoo Seung-ho graduated from Baekshin High School in 2012. Yoo Seung-ho was cast for the leading role of Lee Sun, the Crown Prince in another 2017 Korean historical drama titled Ruler: Master of the Mask or The Emperor: Owner of the Mask. In this role, as a Lee Sun, he is a Crown Prince that battles a powerful and wealthy organization called Pyunsoo hwe that manipulates his country from behind the scenes, becoming a beacon of hope for his people. The female leading role, Han Ga-eun, is the woman Crown Prince loves and she helps him grow as a ruler.
Do Kyung-soo (EXO’s D.O.) as Lee Yool in 100 Days My Prince
Do Kyung-soo, better known as EXO’s D.O., is a South Korean singer and actor who was born in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea on January 12th, 1993. He is one of the members of EXO, a boy band under SM Entertainment. D.O. took education in Baekseok High School and then in Kyung Hee Cyber University. D.O. was cast for the leading role in the 2018 Korean drama 100 Days My Prince with Nam Ji-hyun. In this drama, D.O. played as Won Deuk/Lee Yeol, the crown prince that suddenly disappears but then comes back to the palace after one hundred days. In this story, Le Yeol lost his memory and then fate let him meet his past love again, Yi Seo, who is known as Hong-shim among commoners.
Lee Jun-Ki as Kim Sung-yeol in Scholar Who Walks the Night
The Scholar Who Walks the Night is a 2015 South Korean television series based on the manhwa of the same title written by Jo Joo-hee and illustrated by Han Seung-hee. This historical fantasy drama is about a Joseon scholar with a secret past who recruits a cross-dressing bookseller to help him in his fight to protect the throne from a vampire. Lee Jun-ki played as Kim Sung-yeol, the Scholar from the Joseon area, but actually, he is a vampire. He spends 120 years as a Guardian Vampire who is responsible for getting rid of any vampire who disobeys the rules. And as a Guardian Vampire, he is able to go out in the sunlight as long as he wears his special black robe.
Kim Tae-hyung (BTS’ V) as Han Sung in Hwarang
Kim Tae-hyung, or people have known him as BTS’ V, is a South Korean singer, actor, songwriter, and record producer. He is a vocalist of the South Korean boy band BTS under Big Hit Entertainment. V was born in Seo District, Daegu, South Korea on December 30th, 1995. He took education at Global Cyber University. In the Korean drama Hwarang, V was cast for the supporting role of Han Sung, the youngest hwarang of the lot who has a warm personality and gets along well with everyone. He is a bright and innocent boy who carries a heavy burden as the last jin-gol of his clan, Wolseong.
