Victoria was cast in Beijing, China, through the SM Casting System in 2007. Just like Krystal, Victoria starred in music videos such as SHINee’s “Replay”, Super Junior’s “U”, TVXQ’s “Mirotic”, TRAX’s “Let You Go” and “Blind”, and Kangta’s “In My Heart” and “Breaka Shaka”. Victoria is the mother of f(x) and often cooks for the other members. Victoria said that the f(x) member who stood out the most when she first met them is Amber. The reason is that Amber has the boyish aura. Along with Krystal, Sulli, and Luna, Victoria has ventured into the field of acting. She has starred in some Chinese dramas, namely When Love Walked In, Beautiful Secret, Ice Fantasy, Ice Fantasy Destiny, A Life Time Love, The Chronicles of Town Called Jian, His Excellency’s First Love, Endless August, and Being Lonely in Love. Amber was cast through the SM Global Audition in 2007. At that time, Amber sang MC Max’s “Oh Heart Please Stop Now” and K. Will’s “Left Heart”. Amber felt like a complete stranger when she first went to South Korea because the environment was completely different from her hometown in the United States, and she would ask herself about the reason she went to the country. Fortunately, fellow member Krystal helped her a lot since she knows English as well and made Amber gradually learn Korean more. During her trainee days, Amber once went shopping with Krystal, and her fans said that they thought Amber was Krystal’s boyfriend, which shocked Amber. When f(x) finished their first debut performance, Amber called her mother and the first words that came to her mouth were “Oh my God!”. Amber said that the f(x) member who stood out the most when she first met them is Luna. The reason is that Luna has a good voice.
