Yoo Ji-tae made his debut in the entertainment industry as a fashion model. In 1995, he walked the runaway for the Seoul Fashion Artist Association collections. He then made his screen in 1998. How It Started
Yoo Ji-tae and Kim Hyo-jin are a celebrity couple in South Korea and are open about their relationship to the public. As such, this lovely couple is well known by the people. The lovebirds first met when they were working as models for the same clothing brand in 2003. Feeling some good chemistry at the photo shoot, they continued as good friends and kept in touch. Three years later in 2006, they started to officially date. In an interview, Kim Hyo-jin shared about the beginning of their relationship. She said, “We knew each other for a while. We met through a commercial, and we kept in touch. I had a chance to stay in New York for half a year, and that’s when he first let me know how he really felt. He said that he missed me when we were apart.”
The Wedding Bells Finally Rang
The happy news came from the couple in August 2011 when they announced their engagement. A few weeks later, Yoo Ji-tae and Kim Hyo-jin released their beautiful pre-wedding photos. And, finally, on December 2, 2011, they held their wedding ceremony in Shilla Hotel, Seoul. They chose that date because it was their 5th anniversary of dating. According to the president of World Vision Korea (Yoo Ji-tae and Kim Hyo-jin were World Vision ambassadors), Park Jong-sam, the ceremony was private. It started at 6 pm and was guided by actor Ji Jin-hee. Meanwhile, the after party was guided by the comedian Kim Joon-ho, and he successfully brought joy and fun to the party. The wedding ceremony itself was like a movie premiere as many celebrities came to celebrate the happy day of Yoo Ji-tae and Kim Hyo-jin.
