In 2011, Shin Hyun-bin debuted in television with the series Warrior Baek Dong-soo. Her co-stars were Ji Chang-wook and Yoo Seung-hoo. The story follows the Joseon historical figure Baek Dong-soo who grew to become a swordsman and folk hero. She became one of the main cast as the love interest of Ji Chang-wook’s and Yoo Seung-hoo’s characters. She won the New Star Award at the 2011 SBS Drama Awards.
