It was reported on 11 May ,2014, that Park Jin-hee was married in a private wedding ceremony, attended only by friends and family, at Hotel Shilla, Seoul. The actress married Park Sang-jun, a lawyer at a top overseas law firm, who is five younger than her, after dating for almost a year. They met through an acquaintance, when Park Jin-hee was still shooting the MBC drama Hur Jun, the Original Story, and continued to keep in contact, as they shared an interest in protecting the environment. Park Jin-hee’s talent agency, Costar Entertainment, announced on 7 November, 2014, that Park Jin-hee gave birth to a baby girl that afternoon, saying “She is currently recovering. Both the mother and child are healthy.” Before the birth of her daughter, Park Jin-hee and her husband gave their child the nickname ‘Nal Doong’ after the famous footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, as the baby kicked frequently during the pregnancy. Ten months later, Park Jin-hee appeared on tvN’s Taxi, with her daughter and mother-in-law.
