As a duo member of Davichi, Kang Min-kyung has a deep beautiful voice, and became the main vocalist. Davichi debuted in 2008 with their first album Amaranth. The duo has released three studio albums and six extended plays to date, and were featured on several soundtracks for television dramas such as Descendants of the Sun and It’s Okay, That’s Love. Since their debut with the single “I Love You Even Though I Hate You”, they have experienced consistent commercial success, with six number-one singles in Korea. Since their first appearance in the music industry, Davichi has been catching people’s attention and becoming popular. The promotional track “I Love You Even Though I Hate You” won the Rookie of the Month award for February from the Cyworld Digital Music Awards. They also won awards for “Best New Artist” at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, Golden Disk Awards, and the Seoul Music Awards in late 2008. Their popularity increased so fast, a year later they announced their first concert “The Premiere Wide Hole” in Seoul. Their last concert was in 2017, a solo concert entitled Davichi La êve Concert 2017 was held Seoul at Yonsei University Grand Hall from December 23–24. Until now, they have already held 9 local concerts in Seoul, with a recent announcement that said they will hold another solo concert in 2018. To celebrate their 10 anniversary, Davichi released their third studio album ‘&10’ on January 25 with the lead single “Days Without You”.
