Ten was introduced as part of SM Rookies in December 2013. In 2014, Ten participated with other members on the show Exo 90:2014 with other trainees where they performed songs from the 90s. You can watch the video below.

Debut As a Member of NCT

In April 2016, S.M. Entertainment confirmed Ten alongside other members to debut as members of NCT’s first subgroup, NCT U, with the single, “The 7th Sense.” And his position is main dancer, rapper, vocalist of the group. Here is “The 7th Sense” music video.

Debut in China as a Member of Wayv

All seven members of WayV were originally part of SM Rookies, a pre-debut training team maintained by SM Entertainment. In January 2016, SM founder, Lee Soo-man, announced plans for a new boy group with several different units to be based in cities around the world. WayV (威神V, WēiShén V) is the fourth subunit and the China-based unit of the Hallyu localization project group, NCT. SM Entertainment first introduced the group on August 13th, 2018, as NCT China. On December 31st, 2018, it was announced that the seven-member line-up would debut as WayV in January 2019, and Ten is one of the members of WayV. Then, on January 17th, WayV released their first digital EP, The Vision, with a Chinese version of NCT 127’s “Regular” as the lead single. Watch the music video below.

On June 13th, 2019, WayV dropped their adorable, self-filmed music video for “Let Me Love U.” The MV follows the NCT subunit behind the scenes as they goof around, spend time together, and sing for the camera. “Let Me Love U” is a track from WayV’s 1st mini-album Take Off, which features the title song of the same name.
