Lee Sang-yeob’s Appearance on Running Man in 2017
Lee Sang-yeob appeared on episode 381, which aired on December 17, 2017, and was filmed on November 28, 2017. He came as a guest, along with Choi Gwi-hwa, Go Bo-gyeol and Heo Sung-tae. The show took place in SBS Tanhyeon-dong Production Center, Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi-do. In the episode, the group was divided into 4 teams; the Detective Team (Yoo Jae-suk), the Witness team (Heo Sung-tae), the Civilian Team (Haha, Ji Suk-jin, Lee Kwang-soo, Song Ji-hyo, Jeon So-min, Yang Se-chan, Go Bo-gyeol, Lee Sang-yeob), and the Villain Team (Kim Jong-kook, Choi Gwi-hwa). The game was about protecting the “witness” and eliminating the Villain Team. At the end of the game, Villain Team won, and received a total KRW 3,000,000. The money was donated to charity under Choi Gwi-hwa’s name.

Episodes 390 – 396
On episodes 390 and 391, Lee Sang-yeob appeared with Heo Kyung-hwan, Mighty Mouth Shorry J and Yoo Byung-jae. It took place on Yeongjong Bridge Service Area, Jeongseonjinnam-ro, Seo-gu, Incheon, and aired on March 4 and March 11, 2018. The group was divided into 3 teams; Yoo-So-Body team (Yoo Jae-suk, Ji Suk-jin, Jeon So-min, Heo and Kyung-hwan), Love Triangle team (Haha, Lee Kwang-soo, Song Ji-hyo), and Between Friends team (Kim Jong-kook. Yang Se-chan. Mighty Mouth, and Yoo Byung-jae). The mission was to have the least amount of steps, to avoid the penalty. In the end, Yoo-So-Body team and Love Triangle team won.
On episodes 392 – 396, the guests on the show were Hong Ji-young, Kang Han-na, Lee Da-hee and Lee Sang-yeob. It was the Family Project episode, to celebrate the one year anniversary of Jeon So-min and Yang Se-chan joining “Running Man”.
Episodes 399 – 400
Lee Sang-yeob appeared on episodes 399 and 400 with fellow guest stars Hong Ji-young, Kang Han-na, and Lee Da-hee. It started filming on April 9 and April 15, 2018. The episodes were on the air on May 6 and May 13, 2018.
The episodes were a continuation from the family project from several previous episodes to celebrate Jeon So-min and Yang Se-chan joining “Running Man”. They took place at Incheon International Airport. The group was again divided into 3 teams; Hong Kong Team (Yoo Jae-suk, Jeon So-min, Yang Se-chan), Land Team (Ji Suk-jin, Haha, Song Ji-hyo, Lee Sang-yeob) and Island Team (Kim Jong-kook, Lee Kwang-soo, Hong Ji-young and Lee Da-hee). The teams should avoid earning the Running Balls to win. Although they were divided into 3 times, however, the winner of the game were Haha, Kim Jong-kook, Song Ji-hyo, Jeon So-min, Kang Han-na and Lee Sang-yeob. There were two amazing prizes at the end. The first prize was going to Switzerland on a luxury package tour, which was won by Haha, Kim Jong-kook, Song Ji-hyo, Yang Se-chan, Hong Ji-young and Kang Han-na. Second prize was going to UK for the shuddering package tour, which was won by Yoo Jae-suk, Ji Suk-jin, Lee Kwang-soo, Jeon So-min, Lee Da-hee ad Lee Sang-yeob.
Episodes 406 – 408
Continuing from episode 400, episodes 406 through 408 were the stories of the luxury package and the shuddering package. It took place on the Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge, Randa, Switzerland and at Oxford Castle, Oxford, England, UK. The mission for luxury package was to complete the itinerary and avoid paying any additional fees, while the mission for the shuddering package was to survive the pop-up pirate roulette challenge, avoiding the wing walking, and identifying the name of the ghost in the haunted castle to avoid staying for the night. In the end, everyone won the games with several conditions.
The episodes were aired on June 25, 2018, for episode 406; July 1, 2018, for episode 407; and July 8, 2018, for episode 408.
