Her first acting job started when she was spotted by a TV director, Lee Jae-gyu in the musical bandits, and he decided to cast her as a flutist in his TV series ‘Beethoven Virus’. The series was her first appearance in TV entertainment. Besides acting and singing, she had also played the flute from a young age, and was previously a member of the Seoul Youth Chamber Orchestra. But then, she had transitioned to an acting career, appearing in various TV series as supporting roles. Some of her roles include a pregnant young girl from Yanbian in Take Off, a hacker in IRIS, a firefighter in Love 911, as well as a starring role as a rock-band vocalist in Sky and Ocean. Hyun Jyu-ni’s Wedding and Pregnancy
In December 2012, Hyun Jyu ni made a surprising confession at the VIP movie premiere for ‘Love 911′, which she starred in. She said that she was going to marry her boyfriend who is 3 years older than her. They had been dating for a year and a half, having met each other a year before through a mutual friend. He is a non celebrity, and is said to work as a businessman. The wedding wasn’t the only shocking news, she also revealed that she was 7 weeks pregnant. Juni said: ‘I wore comfortable clothes today because I’m pregnant. I’m happy to reveal the news here today.’ BH Entertainment’s representatives confirmed: ‘We heard the news yesterday (December 10). She’s about 7 weeks pregnant.’ Juni also made another shocking announcement, few days ago, revealing that her wedding will take place on December 13th. Many fans were surprised by this relatively late notice. They actually planned to hold the wedding in October 2012, but because of Juni’s shooting schedule for her drama, the wedding was postponed until December 2012. It was a private ceremony with only family and relatives. Juni stated, “I’ve found a person that I want to be with. Through joy and love, we’ve mended each other’s pains and promise to live together happily. Both of our parents asked for a quiet wedding, so our wedding will be closed to relatives only. KBS2’s “Descendants of the Sun” may have ended, but the camaraderie between the cast continues on. Hyun Jyu Ni posted a collage of pictures taken with her “Descendants of the Sun” co-stars through her Instagram. Some of the actors, like Song Joong Ki and SHINee’s Onew, smile brightly for the camera, while others, such as Jin Goo, make funny faces. She can also be seen goofing around with Song Hye Kyo and other female cast members. The actress provided a caption lamenting the end of the drama, and hoping that her co-stars will always be happy. The drama received high ratings, and became very popular. Moreover, the lead actor and actress of the drama mostly known as ‘Song Song Couple’, Song Joong ki and Song Hye Kyo, officially got married last year. Fans were happy and excited knowing they turned out to be a real couple after the drama ended.
