INFINITE’s Woohyun Japan Trip With His Girlfriend
In February 2017, a rumor of Woohyun going on a vacation with his girlfriend to Japan came out just after his friend, Noh Young-shin posted several photos on his Instagram account. Both of them went to several places in Japan, such as Disneyland and many other popular attractions. Before their flight, Noh Young-shin uploaded his picture with Woohyun in their seat. On his personal Instagram account, Woohyun uploaded a photo of him posing in front of Toy Story’s Woody entrance in Tokyo’s Disneyland. The suspicion of Woohyun going on a trip with his non-celebrity girlfriend raised when the woman named Kim Yoo-kyung uploaded a photo of her wearing Woohyun’s jacket at Disneyland. Unfortunately, the photo has been deleted. Even so, more evidence was collected by the fans as there are other photos on Kim Yoo-kyung’s personal Instagram account that confirm fans’ speculation about her going out with Woohyun and Noh Young-shin. One of the most visible proofs are the pictures of Tokyo Tower that have been uploaded by Kim Yoo-kyung and Noh Young-shin, as well as a comment left by Noh Young-shin on one of Kim Yoo-kyung’s photos which mimicked her original caption, ‘Control yourself.’ As the situation became more suspicious of the relationship between Kim Yoo-kyung and Woohyun, one of the curious fans sent a direct message to Kim Yoo-kyung on Instagram. A long message of clarification was stated by Kim Yoo-kyung: “Hello, sorry for the late message but I felt like I had to respond… Firstly, I am so sorry for causing such a controversy. We did indeed coincidentally go together but our relationship is absolutely not what you think. I’m a friend of Noh Young Shin and I have no relation to Woohyun whatsoever, so please don’t misunderstand. I hope you can share this with anyone else who misunderstood as well.” It turned out Kim Yoo-kyung held Woohyun’s jacket as he wanted to take a picture without it. However, Kim Yoo-kyung got so cold so she put it on herself and took a photo, which she later uploaded on her Instagram. Moreover, Kim Yoo-kyung also stated that she is currently in a relationship, though she cannot reveal the person she dates. On February 28th, 2017, INFINITE’s Woohyun indirectly spoke about the scandal with Kim Yoo-kyung by uploading two pictures of him (now deleted) with the caption, “I said it’s not true so stop it ㅋㅋ Sigh ㅋㅋ Grr ㅋㅋ What do you take me for? ㅋㅋ” The fans quickly assured Woohyun that they believed him and thanked him for clarifying the rumor fast. After the scandal, Woohyun reportedly unfollowed Noh Young-shin.
