The Beginning

At the beginning of the music video, the world is fastly zoomed in into Jimin eyes as the world point of view is from Jimin’s side. The dark green-hued room represents Jimin’s safe place, his comfort zone, which makes him curious and ambitious to welcome the new things around him. The bright yellow blanket and the cactus represent the positive energy of brightness and cheerfulness. The bright yellow so eye-catching among the other things in the room because Jimin’s current state is still scared to try new things as some scene show him hiding under a white blanket. The white color represents the pureness and innocence of the current world of Jimin, which is comfortable for Jimin.

Realization

The yellow blanket is cast beside him when Jimin tries to touch the yellow cactus, which makes him bleed. However, the red color from the blood represents Jimin’s powerful and passionate emotions to change his point of view of the world. As Jimin begins to realize the bigger world beyond him, he starts to interact with another yellow object, small yellow ball.

The Acceptance

As Jimin begins to accept more things around him, the small yellow objects grow bigger, even bigger than Jimin himself as the bigger yellow ball represent foreign things. His room also becomes more open and he is able to see the blue skies through the window at his top. The blanket he is under has also changed into yellow, which means he has already accepted the new things around him and has allowed himself to see the bigger picture, such as the universe beyond himself.

The Change

When Jimin welcomes the change in him, his room starts shaking. However, he seems happy rather than being shocked. His acceptance of the whole thing could be seen from his room color and size. There is also a scene where Jimin lets go of a yellow balloon in the sky, another where he dives head first into the galaxy and sees himself through a telescope. It represents the whole acceptance for the whole world, also his existence in the world, in life.
