At that time Jumong’s mother was pregnant with Jumong. So Jumong was born as a prince in Buyeo Kingdom. But Jumong grows up as a weak and cowardly prince, so he is under the shadow of his two half brothers, Prince Daeso and Youngpo. Jumong’s mother decides that Jumong should start practicing martial arts, but Jumong messes it up so he is kicked out of the palace. Outside the palace he meets Soseono and discovers the fate of his father, who once helped Soseono’s father, Yeon Ta-bal. Jumong also meets his real father, Hae Mo-Su, who teaches him sword and arrow skills, but Jumong is not aware of who the man really is, as he thinks it’s too late and that his father has been killed by his stepbrother. Jumong finally establishes the Kingdom of Goguryeo with the help of Soseono and his Gyeh Ru group. Jumong becomes King and Soseono becomes Queen. Jumong ruled Goguryeo for 15 years. The Kingdom of Goguryeo eventually stood for 705 years, with 28 kings with the family name Go. Jumong descendants still use the family name Go to this day.
