In 2012, when he appeared as a guest on SBS’s One Night of TV Entertainment, they played “Jung Woo-sung’s Girl-Group Ideal Type World Cup”. The nominations were Girls Generation’s Yuri and Yoona, f(x)’s Sulli and Krystal, T-ara’s Jiyeon, and After School’s Uee. After the choices were established, he chose Uee. He said he saw her on a TV drama and he liked her image. Later, during an interview with OSEN on July 4, 2014, Jung Woo-sung revealed his ideal type. Jung Woo-sung and Lee Ji-ah met on the set of a drama called Athena: Goddess of War. They acted as a timeless couple that reunited after a separation. Some people believed that they fell in love because of the drama. The rumor began when people spotted them together in Paris when neither of them had worked there scheduled. Later, in March 2011, Jung Woo-sung admitted that he and Lee Ji-ah were dating by writing a message to his fans. Fans congratulated them before Lee Ji-ah’s shocking past are revealed. A month after the confirmation from Jung Woo-sung, a Korean news portal site reported that Lee Ji-ah was in a middle of a lawsuit over alimony and an asset division with her ex-husband, which had been unknown, before. The most shocking part was that her ex-husband is Seo Tai-ji, the legendary South Korean musician. It was revealed that Lee and Seo were married on Oct 12, 1997. They divorced in 2006. It’s amazing that they were able to keep their marriage a secret, even though both of them are public figures. Not a long after the scandal broke, and was getting a lot of buzzes, Jung Woo-sung’s agency announced that their actor Jung Woo-sung and Lee Ji-ah had broken up. Jung Woo-sung stayed silent on the topic for about a year, and didn’t give any responses about the scandal, but, he did finally speak out, saying Lee Ji-ah told him about her previous marriage before the scandal was revealed.
Jung Woo-sung and Lee Ji-ah Are Back?
In 2013, there were several articles saying Jung Woo-sung and Lee Ji-ah were getting back together. During an interview with Sports World, he said he was aware of of the rumor. He then talked about the plot for his upcoming movie, which is about love wounds. He said to the reporters, “Do you want to hear about Lee Ji-ah, don’t you?” He added, “In our country, I would like to be good friends even after breaking up, just someone who can give advice about this and that.” He said, “With Lee Ji-ah ssi, we ended things too suddenly and because of our environment. Even I can’t give her a proper farewell. We lost contact after several different reports began going out. A lot of people seem to think that I’m a victim of the relationship, but there is no victim in love.” He also made sure that he is not getting back with Lee Ji-ah.
