The King In Love: Review
The drama series is set during the Kingdom of Goryeo. Won (Im Si-Wan) is a crown prince of Goryeo. He’s very handsome, but he also has a lust for conquest. He is best friends with Wang Rin (Hong Jong-Hyun), who comes from a royal family and is his bodyguard. Beautiful Eun San (Im Yoon-a) appears in front of the two young men. She is the daughter of the richest man in the area. The three become good friends, but things change after Wang Won and Wang Rin both fall in love with Eun San. Eun San (Im Yoon-a) is the only child and daughter of Minister Eun, the richest nobleman in the kingdom. When she was young, someone tried to kill her, but the assassin killed her maid Bi-Yeon instead, thinking she was Eun San. So to keep Eun San safe her father sent her away and let people think Eun San was dead. Eun San grows up to be an ordinary girl, and when Won (Im Si-wan) and Wang Rin (Hong Jong-hyun) come to the city where Eun San is living to meet Eun San’s teacher, the three of them meet and take a journey together to complete a task for her teacher. The three young people become close while on their journey together, and that’s when the love triangle begins to develop. The best of this drama is the friendship between Crown Prince Won and His best friend, Wang Rin, and it only became more intense when Eun San comes between them. It’s really exciting to watch the way the three of them become best friends, and it’s so known whether to root for Crown Prince Won with his lonely life or Wang Rin, who has spent his entire life protecting and serving Crown Prince Won and finally gets a chance at what he really wants. Not only do their relationships make things complicated, but the power of politics just adds an extra helping of difficulty to the mix. The drama ‘King In Love’ is never boring and viewers kept looking ahead to future episodes to see how it all plays out. The story is made even better by the fantastic chemistry between the stars, which evokes a lot of powerful emotion.
