A Great Integration between Gong Hyo-jin and Jo Jung-suk You Must Watch!

The story revolves around Pyo Na-ri (Gong Hyo-jin), a weathercaster who dreams to be a news anchor. Despite her cheerful personality, she doesn’t seem to get much respect from the producing team and other weathercasters. She volunteers to go to Bangkok as a supporting staff for half wages and other responsibilities, like doing makeup and hair. She wants to go to Bangkok to meet Lee Hwa-shin (Jo Jung-suk), a former news anchor who is on his overseas assignment in Bangkok. Na-ri has a three-years crush on Hwa-shin. On her flight to Bangkok, she sits next to a handsome man named Go Jung-won (Go Kyung-pyo) who turns out to be Hwa-shin’s best friend. Through an accident, Na-ri wounded Hwa-shin on his chest and feels something on his chest. She suspects that Hwa-shin has breast cancer as his chest reminds her of her mother’s. Hwa-shin is getting angry and yells that he is a man. But Na-ri points out that men are human too, and also have a chest. He slowly backs away from her. However, Hwa-shin finally goes to the hospital and has his chest examined. His test results tell him that he has breast cancer. The doctor assures him that his case is rare, but it does happen to men. His cancer is in a very early stage and very treatable. With surgery and treatment, he’ll be fine. Hwa-shin is shocked and in disbelief that he has breast cancer. Na-ri also has an examination at the same ob-gyn doctor. She has a new lump in her breast, but it’s not cancer. However, she needs surgery because the lump might cause complications. Na-ri arrives at the hospital for her surgery. She finds out that Hwa-shin stays in the same hospital room as her and he is also having a surgery scheduled for him. Although they often bicker in their hospital room, the time they spend together and the kiss that happens between them changes something important in their hearts, respectively. On the other hand, Jung-won starts making moves on Na-ri. He was already interested in Na-ri during their first encounter on the flight to Bangkok. Jung-won confesses to Na-ri and says that he wants a passionate relationship with Na-ri. After some time, Na-ri is finally dating Jung-won and they become lovebirds. Hwa-shin starts to express jealousy every time Na-ri is close to Jung-won and realizes that he likes Na-ri. After dropping Na-ri at her house, Jung-won goes to Hwa-shin’s house and unintentionally hears that Hwa-shin wants to steal Na-ri from him. Jung-won then meets Hwa-shin in a tent bar. Hwa-shin then confesses that he likes Na-ri and he is going to confess to her. Jung-won doesn’t allow him to do that but Hwa-shin responds that he doesn’t need his friend’s permission and he will stop being Jung-won’s friend because he feels too guilty. Jung-won tells Hwa-shin that he can’t do any of that. Hwa-shin then says that he is going crazy just watching Jung-won and Na-ri together. He honestly says that he wants to hold hands, hug, kiss, and sleep with Na-ri. Jung-won calls him a bastard. Hwa-shin accepts the title and says that he can’t confess to Na-ri because of Jung-won and Na-ri won’t know his feeling until she dies. Jung-won tells Hwa-shin that he’ll forget this conversation ever happened, and Hwa-shin walks away. Despite the conflict about Na-ri, Hwa-shin and Jung-won soon make up and become friends again. Meanwhile, Na-ri starts to suspect that Hwa-shin might have feelings for her and she is in confusion. It’s hard to forget about the three-year crush, isn’t it? Moreover, Hwa-shin helps her to attend the anchor audition on-time and gives her tips for the audition. The audition goes well for Na-ri as the tips that Hwa-shin gave her were very useful. Na-ri is determined to not waver for Hwa-shin but her heart feels the opposite. When Hwa-shin kisses her, she kisses him back and says that she is crazy for doing that.   After kissing Hwa-shin, Na-ri is conflicted feeling guilt and all these other confusing emotions. She questions whether she’s human or a beast. Na-ri then asks to break up with Jung-won because she also likes another man. She tells Jung-won to curse at her and throw her away because she’s undeserving of his love. She apologizes profusely and leaves. Na-ri is then caught up in a fight between Hwa-shin and Jung-won. She tells them that she will leave and asks them to find other women. She says that she will never meet anyone better than the two of them and doesn’t deserve to love again. She scoffs at her two-timing heart and apologizes again before heading home. However, fate keeps entangling the three of them. Hwa-shin and Jung-won fight again and disturb Na-ri on her blind date. Determined to get another chance, Hwa-shin suggests that Na-ri dates both men simultaneously and then decide which person she likes better. But Jung-won and Na-ri both think that he’s crazy and reject his idea. A few days later, the three of them meet again. Hwa-shin suggests his idea once again and this time Jung-won agrees with him and asks Na-ri to go out with both of them. Na-ri is in disbelief of the men’s decision. She rejects the idea and goes away. Amid the two-timing situation, Jung-won finds out that Hwa-shin has breast cancer and stays in the hospital with Hwa-shin and Na-ri. Na-ri tells them that she likes the three of them being together like that and suggests the three of them live together but then quickly takes it back. Before sleeping, Na-ri kisses Jung-won and Hwa-shin on the cheek and says that only she will be allowed to demonstrate physical affection. The three of them end up living together in Jung-won’s house. Na-ri compares Hwa-shin and Jung-won on several occasions, like when she asks each of them to teach her to drive or when she deliberately throws the breakers to plunge the house into darkness. Na-ri fills in her calendar and so far every day is Jung-won’s. She sighs for Hwa-shin, however, when Na-ri witnesses Hong Hye-won (Seo Ji-hye) another anchorwoman, kissing Hwa-shin, she is jealous. As jealousy comes from love, Na-ri realizes that her heart beats for Hwa-shin. She apologizes to Jung-won and leaves the house. Na-ri ends up dating Hwa-shin and they are happy in their new relationship. However, their happiness doesn’t last long as Hwa-shin is declared infertile by the doctor. Hwa-shin cries that he just wants a normal family with two children. Na-ri secretly finds out what Hwa-shin hides from her. Hwa-shin tries to break up with Na-ri but keeps failing. Na-ri says that she can’t break up, but Hwa-shin insists that they break up. Na-ri acknowledges that a marriage without a child could get tiring, but she can’t imagine a marriage without him. She insists that she is okay with not having children. Hwa-shin begins to have second thoughts. Na-ri ensures him that she’s okay with a kiss and they spend the night together. Hwa-shin then plans everything for their wedding. They plan to have their wedding on Christmas Eve. After finishing her weather broadcast, Na-ri is picked up by Jung-won. Jung-won tells her that she looks pretty in her dress. The wedding ceremony is cheery and lively. We can see the happiness on Na-ri’s and Hwa-shin’s face. Despite their hardships, Na-ri and Hwa-shin live happily ever after. Aside from the love triangle among Pyo Na-ri, Lee Hwa-shin, and Go Jung-won, the drama also shows the story of Lee Ppal-gang (Moon Ga-young) and her two mothers, Gye Sung-sook (Lee Mi-sook) and Bang Ja-young (Park Ji-young) who try to live together with Ppal-gang; the love triangle among Gye Sung-sook, Bang Ja-young, and Kim Rak (Lee Sung-jae); the love triangle among Lee Ppal-gang, Pyo Chi-yeol (Kim Jung-hyun), and Oh Dae-goo (Ahn Woo-yeon); and the story behind the broadcasting company.
