She even bumps to Choi Soo-ah but keeps on running frantically. Unfortunately, she gets hit by a car and dies as a result of the obtained injuries. Seo Do-woo is shocked and extremely sad because his stepdaughter has passed away. It becomes even worse when Kim Hye-won doesn’t want to bring back Annie Seo’s body to Seoul and asks Mary, the homestay owner in Malaysia, to throw away all of her stuff. Meanwhile, Choi Soo-ah who finds out about Annie Seo’s accident rashly decides to bring Park Hyo-eun back home. She goes back to the homestay to bring back all of her daughter’s stuff. After hearing Mary’s story about Annie Seo’s stuff, she decides to take her stuff back with her. Coincidentally, Choi Soo-ah and Seo Do-woo are on the same flight to Seoul. Choi Soo-ah asks him to meet after they arrive in Seoul to give him Annie Seo’s stuff. However, her baggage gets mixed up and it takes hours before they arrive in Seoul. Choi Soo-ah and Seo Do-woo finally have a proper meeting and introduce each other. They are waiting for the baggage for the whole night at the airport lobby. After he gets Annie Seo’s stuff, he takes her home. On their way home, they see the beautiful dawn on Han River together. She then decides to quit her job in order to focus on taking care of her daughter. But everyone in the family opposes her. At the worst timing, she also finds out about her husband’s affair with Song Mi-jin, her best friend, who turns out to be his ex-girlfriend. Seo Do-woo’s family conditions are also getting worse. His wife is mad at him for bringing Annie Seo’s cremated remains back home. She has even remodeled her daughter’s bedroom to leave no trace of her. He is caught up in the middle of the disputes between his wife and his uncle. His mother’s health is also getting worse and she passes away. In addition, he finds out that his wife had been lying about how she raised their daughter and the lies she had been telling their daughter about her biological father. He finds out that her own daughter had no meaning for his wife and that she would rather choose her job than her daughter. During all of Choi Soo-ah and Seo Do-woo’s hardships, they find comfort and solace in each other. They are there for one another when they need each other the most.
