The Heirs: Review
First of all, let’s talk about the synopsis of The Heirs! Basically, The Heirs tells us about Kim Tan (played by Lee Min-ho), and Cha Eun-sang (played by Park Shin-hye). The two of them meet for the first time when they are in America. Their meeting happens completely by accident. Kim Tan is the son and the heir of the biggest company, while Cha Eun-sang is the daughter of the helper. While they are in America, Cha Eun-sang is actually sent there to visit her sister. Kim Tan, on the other hand, has already been living there for quite a long time. After Cha Eun-sang gets involved in an argument with her sister, Kim Tan happens to be there and offers her help. He offers her to temporarily live together with him. As the two start living together, as time goes by, the two begin to realize that they have developed feelings for each other. However, suddenly, Kim Tan has to go back to South Korea due to some family issues. And it turns out that Cha Eun-sang’s mother is one of the helpers in Kim Tan’s house. Because of the economic issues, Cha Eun-sang and her mother have to stay in Kim Tan’s house. At first, Cha Eun-sang doesn’t realize that she is in the same home with Kim Tan, but eventually, she realizes, even though Kim Tan is the first one who realized it. When Kim Tan becomes aware of his feelings for Cha Eun-sang, he doesn’t hesitate to show them, even though his mother and father are completely against it. Additional pressure is being put on Kim Tan from his brother, who unlike Kim Tan is not the son of a mistress who can’t go public due to his status. The love story between Kim Tan and Cha Eun-sang continues with the appearance of Choi Young-do (played by Kim Woo-bin). Choi Young-do is Kim Tan’s childhood friend, however as they grow up they become enemies, fighting against each other. When Cha Eun-sang moves into the same school as Kim Tan, she gets to meet Choi Young-do and become his target for bullying. But unexpectedly, Choi Young-doo falls in love with Cha Eun-sang, and always bullies her just to get her attention. The Heirs is obviously showing us the typical Cinderella story, the girl who is loved by a lot of people! When Kim Tan falls in love with Cha Eun-sang, he has to go against his parents. Additionally, he is the heir of one of the largest companies and she is just an ordinary girl, the daughter of the helper. The Heirs was aired on SBS in 2013. The Heirs wasn’t just popular in South Korea, but also across Asia! If you haven’t watched it yet, make sure to watch it as soon as possible! And here’s the official poster of The Heirs!
