Belle Epoque: A New Member Added a New Story
The drama Age of Youth has become something of a craze in South Korea. Even though the ratings aren’t as high as some other dramas’, the show still became the talk of the town. Given how much attention the show was receiving, the production team decided to make season 2. The story continues from where season one left off, except the story added a new character named Jo Eun. The other residents continue with their lives; Yoon Jin-myung gets a job in entertainment, Jung Ye-eun goes back to school after taking a year off, Song Ji-won still hasn’t got a boyfriend, and Yoo Eun-jae, has just broken up with her boyfriend, Yoon Jong-yeol, and is feeling broken-hearted. Jo Eun’s arrival at Belle Epoque is a source of some confusion for the residents. Jo Eun has a tomboy look and short hair. Her personality also seems a bit cold, which makes others stay away from her. After spending time together, the four of them start becoming close with Jo Eun. Surprisingly, behind her boyish looks, Jo Eun is actually like other girls. She started falling in love with Seo Jang-hoon, the person who looks after Belle Epoque. Like Jo Eun, Jung Ye-eun also starts falling in love again, with a handsome nerd, Kwon Ho-chang. For the others, they’re still confused with their own feelings. Yoon Jin-myung strangely becomes close with Heimdal, a member of a failed group that she manages, Park Eun-jae suddenly becomes close again with her ex-boyfriend, and Song Ji-won becomes closer with her senior, Im Sung-min. One day, Song Ji-won has a strange dream about shoes. She tries hard to remember what happened with the shoe in her dream. With Im Sung-min’s help, Song Ji-won starts to investigate things from her childhood, and finds that re-visiting things from her childhood isn’t as easy as she thought. She meets a bad person who wants to hurt her. Luckily, Im Sung-min is by her side and helps her whenever she needs it. Unexpected things begin to happen with her. The shoes from her dream happened to be from her best friend. Things start getting more complicated when the problem involves her elementary school’s headmaster. But, with the support of Belle Epoque’s residents, Song Ji-won able to continue her investigation. Does Song Ji-won finally find her answer? You can watch the drama to see the ending!

Yoon Jin-myung
The character Yoon Jin-myung is played by actress Han Ye-ri. In season 1, Yoon Jin-myung is pictured as the hardworking character, who struggles to find a job after graduating from college. After studying abroad in China, Yoon Jin-myung got accepted at an entertainment company, but, working isn’t easy as she thought. She has to take care of the failed group ‘Asgard’ and manages them. After she starts, she becomes close to one of the members, Heimdall. Their professional relationship is getting closer, but did their love relationship really work out?
Jung Ye-eun
The character Jung Ye-eun is played by Han Seung-yeon, a former member of KARA. Of all the characters, Jung Ye-eun is the girliest. Most of her things are pink. In season 1, she had a boyfriend who was abusing her. Because of that, she has panic attacks. After Kwon Ho-chang comes into her life, Jung Ye-eun begins to feel safe because he’s ready to protect her.
Song Ji-won
The character Song Ji-won is played by actress Park Eun-bin. Song Ji-won is the most energetic character in the drama. She always finds a way to laugh and makes others laugh, too, but, actually, she keeps a dark secret from her childhood. With her senior, Im Sung-min, she tried to face her secret.
Yoo Eun-jae
Yoo Eun-jae’s character in season 2 is being played by actress Ji Woo. The original actress, Park Hye-soo, wasn’t able to continue because of conflicting schedules. The character’s personality is still the same, only the actress has changed. In this season, Yoo Eun-jae has to learn to overcome her first heartbreak with her ex-boyfriend. Other residents of Belle Epoque help her to forget her boyfriend. Things get more complicated for her after she makes her life more difficult. Will she be able to cure her heartbreak?
Jo Eun
Jo Eun’s character is played by actress and model Choi A-ra. Jo Eun’s personality is a bit cold, but actually, she has a soft heart. She has a best friend named Ahn Ye-ji, who’s always with her. After Jo Eun starts to get closer with Seo Jang-hoon, their relationship isn’t the way it always used to be. Will they be able to reconcile their friendship like before?

Seo Jang-hoon
Seo Jang-hoon’s character is played by actor Kim Min-seok. He acts as the manager who takes care of the house while the owner’s away, and is Jo Eun’s love interest. Unexpectedly, he likes Jo Eun’s soft heart and he has gotten himself into a relationship with Jo Eun. Their height differences is too cute!
Kwon Ho-chang
Kwon Ho-chang’s character is played by an actor who appeared on Produce 101, Lee You-jin. Onew from SHINee actually acted as Kwon Ho-chang character at first, but, because of a sexual assault scandal, he had to leave the drama. In the drama, Kwon Ho-chang becomes Jung Ye-eun’s love interest. Their first meeting isn’t very nice. When Jung Ye-eun suffers from a panic attack, Kwon Ho-chang readily helped her. Since then, Jung Ye-eun feels safe around him and they end up becoming close.
Heimdal
The character of Heimdal is played by actor Ahn Woo-yeon. Heimdal is a member of ‘Asgard’, an idol group. Unfortunately, his group is the only failed group in the entertainment company that manages them. When Yoon Jin-myung is given the job of managing them, they become close and understand each other because of their sincerity.
Im Sung-min
The character Im Sung-min is played by actor Son Seung-won. Who’s been ‘shipping’ Song Ji-won and Im Sung-min since season 1? their relationship is the most realistic between all the friends. Because they’re so comfortable as friends, their relationship as lovers didn’t work out. All the same, Im Sung-min is a good friend who helps Song Ji-won uncover her secret. Will their relationship end up working out in the end?
Yoon Jong-yeol
Yoon Jong-yeol is played by the actor Shin Hyun-soo. Yoon Jong-yeol is Yoo Eun-jae’s love interest since season 1. Sadly, their relationship ends in season 2. Because of that, Yoo Eun-jae did everything to make Yoon Jong-yeol come back to her when actually Yoon Jong-yeol still loves her and quietly protects her from behind.
