They reportedly started dating in 2016, after meeting on the set of the romantic film, “Yourself and Yours”. When they announced they had been dating for the past two months, the relationship caught many by surprise, as the couple has a 17-year age difference. It was also reported that whenever the two of them went out together, they never hid their identities from the public eye or wore masks to cover their faces. In fact, the duo were very comfortable in each other’s presence and behaved like a normal couple in public, despite being major celebrities in Korea. A fellow colleague stated, “They do have a big age gap, but their personalities get along so well that you can’t even feel the age difference. Kim Joo Hyuk was injured in an overturning car at 4:30 pm on October 30th, at the apartment’s main road in the Samsung-dong neighborhood of Gangnam-gu, Seoul. After cardiopulmonary resuscitation, he was transferred to Konkuk University Hospital, but eventually died of a heart attack. His lover, Lee Yoo Young, was in despair after she heard the news of her boyfriend during her filming in “Running Man”. She was in a state of disbelief and shock, repeatedly asking if the news was true. Filming was halted and she left for Seoul. Dealing with death, particularly the death of someone you love, is one of the most stressful experiences you can go through. As reported by some portal sites, Lee Yoo Young’s agency, Poongkyung Entertainment, revealed on October 31st that she was in a state of deep sadness and had been unable to eat since learning of Kim Joo Hyuk’s death.
