Do All of His Tattoos Have Some Meaning?

Out of all JYJ members who have tattoos on their body, Jae-joong has the most tattoos and each tattoo carries some different meaning. A couple of years ago, Jae-joong revealed the meaning of some of the tattoos on his body. The first tattoo is “TVfXQ SOUL” tattoo, which he got in 2005 when he was in the USA with another JYJ member (Yoochun). This tattoo marks his debut with TVXQ. Then, there is “The pleasure of the mighty are the tears of the poor” tattoo on his back, which is a reminder for him to not lose himself in his accumulated wealth. Other than those tattoos, there is a part of Jae-joong’s back tattooed with members’ names, it’s the “MICKEY JUNSU” tattoo. The tattoo itself shows the love Jae-joong has for Yoochun (Mickey) and Junsu. Jae-joong got this tattoo done right after forming JYJ. Jae-joong explained, many people said that if he gets a tattoo of other members’ names, he will regret it in the future. Then Jae-joong said that with the tattoo, no matter how busy he is, he can think that the members are with him, and every time he thought so, he would feel the importance of other members to him.

Even though most of his tattoos are on his back, he has some tattoos on his chest as well. During the hectic departure, Jae-joong wanted his Cassiopeia (TVXQ’s fans) to always keep their faith. It’s shown on his “Always keep the faith” tattoo on his left chest. This tattoo was designed by Jae-joong and he got it tattooed with Yoochun (JYJ member), with this tattoo, he hoped that faith will be held to the very end.
