Blackpink’s First Mini Album: Square One

Released at 8 p.m. KST on August 8, 2016, mini album Square One is Blackpink’s debut mini album. All of the songs on the album were a success. They topped South Korean and international music charts, such as the Gaon Digital Chart and Billboard within the first week of its sales. Blackpink’s Second Mini Album: Square Two

Square Two is Blackpink’s second mini album. It was released on November 1, 2016 by YG Entertainment. Following the success of Square One, this mini album also topped the US Billboard charts as well as South Korean, Japanese, and Canadian music charts. Blackpink’s Latest Single: As If It’s Your Last

As If It’s Your Last was released by YG Entertainment on June 22, 2017. The song was very successful, topping charts not only in Asian countries, but also music charts in the United States, Australia, and Europe. The popularity of the song was proven by its number 1 rank on Billboard’s World Digital Songs and number 3 rank on the Gaon Digital Chart. Blackpink’s Debut in Japan: Japanese Album Released

Blackpink made their Japan debut by releasing a mini album with their group name as its title, Blackpink. It was released digitally on August 29, 2017 and physically on August 30 by YGEX and Avex Entertainment. The mini album topped the Oricon Albums Chart on the day of its release. It made Blackpink the third foreign artist to top the chart with a debut release. With 39,100 copies sold, the mini album was the fourth best selling album in Japan in August 2017.
