Temperature Of Love‘s Synopsis
The Temperature of Love drama was adapted from a novel titled Chakhan Seupeuneun Jeonhwareul Bakji Anneunda by Ha Myung-hee, a reliable director who had previously successfully produced popular dramas, such as Doctors and High Society, tells the story of Lee Hyun-soo (played by Seo Hyun-jin) who is a drama screenwriter who has ambitions in reaching for his dreams but is often faced with severe problems that make him feel worse. One day, he meets someone in cyberspace who had a pseudonym Chakhan Seupeu (Good Soup), who he eventually encounters accidentally in the real world, apparently a young chef by the name of On Jung-sung (played by Yang Se-jong), who dreams of continuing cooking school in France to improve his cooking skills. Actually Lee Hyun-soo and On Jung-sung had often crossed paths in the street but never noticed each other, until they were reunited and finally spoke while joining the night run held by a running club, thanks to Ji Hong-ah’s invitation (played by Jo Bo-ah) and Choi Won-joon (played by Shim Hee-seop), who is his second best friend. Strangely, Jung-sung already feels something is different when he first sees Lee Hyun-soo. In fact, he is desperate to ask her for a date after hours of searching for the whereabouts of Lee Hyun-soo, who seems to have disappeared because she did not know the direction of the road. Of course, this is considered crazy by Lee Hyun-soo. And how can it not? Besides, he looks younger than her, they also haven’t officially met, she doesn’t even know his name. After that night, Lee Hyun-soo and On Jung-sung often meet up and spend time together, even though they don’t really define their relationship… But one day, On Jung-sung receives the happy news he has been waiting for from France. While, unfortunately, at that time, Lee Hyun-soo’s career is on the edge. That affects their relationship quite a lot, so much so that the last time On Jung-sung contacts Lee Hyun-soo, before his departure to France, Lee Hyun-soo doesn’t even pick up the phone, because at that time she was talking seriously to Park Jung-woo (played by Kim Jae-wook). They are eventually separated by thousands of kilometers for five years, without clarifying the status of their relationship or any parting words. Five years later, Lee Hyun-soo finally makes her debut as a drama screenwriter. Unfortunately, she has to work with a director who is well-known for his habit of often changing the screenplay according to his personal wishes. Of course, Lee Hyun-soo, who felt she was struggling to make it, doesn’t easily accept this. In fact, she makes a scene in the middle of the shooting, causing the shooting process to stop. It was at this time that the figure of On Jung-sung could be seen again. It turns out that On Jung-sung is the chef who is supposed to take part in the drama she wrote. Seeing the incident, On Jung-sung suddenly comes over to Lee Hyun-soo, but because she feels ashamed and angry, she immediately runs away as fast as she can from the location, but is followed by On Jung-sung.
