After their dating rumor was originally denied, G-Dragon and Kiko Mizuhara were spotted having a date in an amusement park, in July 2011. At that time, G-Dragon had blond hair, hence the netizens’ assumption that the picture was taken during Big Bang’s promotion. In addition, the amusement park date photo was marked as the first public photo of G-Dragon and Kiko together. G-Dragon and Kiko were reported of being together, in the media outlets, two years later, when Kiko was seen at G-Dragon’s birthday party. Along with other G-Dragon’s friends, Kiko’s face could be seen clearly under the dim light. At the beginning of January 2014, media outlets stated that G-Dragon and Kiko went on a vacation to Phuket, Thailand with their friend Harry Kim. G-Dragon uploaded a picture of the scenery in Phuket, whereas Harry Kim shared a photo of the three people gathered in the same landscape: G-Dragon on the left, Kiko in the middle, and Harry on the far right. In spite of the continuous denial, Kiko Mizuhara still attended G-Dragon’s birthday in August 2014, which was held in Tokyo. In a picture, uploaded by a long time friend of G-Dragon, Kiko was seen along with other people who came to G-Dragon’s birthday party in full 1980s attire. A month later, Dispatch released photos of G-Dragon and Kiko Mizuhara having a date around the Itaewon area, Seoul. G-Dragon was seen holding Kiko by the waist, while other pictures show their intimacy while sitting at the stairs with a friend who took pictures of them. Still, in September 2014, G-Dragon and Kiko Mizuhara were seen sitting together at a terminal in Miyako Island, Okinawa, Japan. The post creator pointed out that Kiko liked a picture of the Korean flag and wrote an Instagram post in Korean when she attended the Sohu Award, “It might be for the image management but a right-wing supporter would never do something like that.” In addition, Kiko once talked about her mother being a Korean which is the total opposite action of what a right-wing supporter would do. In March 2015, the media outlets reported that Kiko Mizuhara entered South Korea in secret with a manager of YG Entertainment. The news continued, and on April 30th, 2015, both G-Dragon and Kiko attended a party, and Kiko even went back home using G-Dragon’s car.
