Jonghyun’s Last Performance from the INSPIRED Solo Concert
As a member of SHINee, Jonghyun drew attention due to his amazing vocal skills. No wonder he finally made his solo debut in 2015 through the EP Base. It also led towards him holding his first solo concert entitled JONGHYUN – X – INSPIRATION in 2016 followed by various concert series afterward until a concert titled INSPIRED in 2017. Through the concert, Jonghyun greeted the fans not only from South Korea but also the international fans! Within the 150-minute duration, Jonghyun performed a bunch of his hit singles such as “Crazy,” “Deja-Boo,” “Take the Dive,” “She Is,” and many more!Watch some of his performances here:
The Odd Things during His Concert
Much time has passed since Jonghyun’s death, and the public started to notice that there were odd things during Jonghyun’s last concert. He supposedly announced that he would make a comeback in January 2018, but he didn’t say that.The announcement of his comeback was written on the screen during his concert although Jonghyun didn’t read it and continued his performance like usual. It feels as though Jonghyun already had a hunch that he wouldn’t be able to make a comeback in the future as was planned, and sadly it became true since a few days after his concert, he was found dead.
Jonghyun’s Last Group Concert with SHINee
The video of SHINee‘s last performance with Jonghyun was spread through the Internet after the fans went into hysteria from their sadness. The fact that their idol was gone also broke their hearts despite the beautiful memories that will last forever. The last stage performance of the 5 members of SHINee was marked through SMTOWN Live World Tour VI which was held in Hong Kong in August 2017.Another emotional moment was also spotted during the concert since Jonghyun gave a little speech and greeting to the fans, saying “At first, I was worried that my concert schedule was too much. But, I got so much energy from SHAWOL (SHINee’s fandom) throughout the concert, and it made my health condition got so much better. Jonghyun’s Solo Project Activity before His Death
Jonghyun was scheduled to make a comeback in January 2018, and before his death, he was actively filming music videos and TV shows. According to SM Entertainment (SHINee’s agency), Jonghyun was working on some new music such as a new solo track. Moreover, Jonghyun also made a special appearance on JTBC’s show Night Goblin along with his groupmate, SHINee’s Minho.However, JTBC decided not to broadcast the episode with Jonghyun’s appearance as a form of respect after his death. Later on, SM Entertainment released a new album of Jonghyun titled Poet|Artist which contains 11 songs with the title track “Shinin.” All of the profits from the album sales were given to Jonghyun’s mother and were also used to establish an organization to help other people who live under difficult circumstances.After all this time, SHAWOL all over the world are still mourning for Jonghyun, and they will always remember him as a great idol.
