Kim Young Ok is a South Korean veteran actress who has appeared in numerous dramas and movies. She was born on December 5, 1937. She made her acting debut in a movie titled Farewell Sorrow in 1957. She has been active in the industry ever since. This lovely grandma is also known as a voice actress who has won a lot of awards for her acting in the Korean entertainment industry. Many people might notice her for her roles in many dramas. One of the dramas is Boys Over Flowers where she took the role as the head maid in Goo Jun Pyo’s (played by Lee Min Ho) house. Aside from acting, she is also a talented rapper. She appeared on the show HipHop Nation along with Monsta X’s Jooheon. She showed her rapping skills on this show while partnered with Jooheon. Her appearance on this show made people adore her even more through her energetic performance which contradicted her age. She is already married and reportedly has a son. She recently took a role in the popular drama The Great Seducer as Woo Do-Hwan’s grandmother. She also played in The Rich Son as a character named Park Sun-ok. Now, she is going to act in a new MDN drama titled Witch Love as Maeng Ye-Soon alongside Vixx’s Hongbin, Yoon So Hee, and Hyun Woo.
