Dropping the “Suffix 05”, in the year 2006, Super Junior became a thirteen-member South Korean boy group. In the year 2009, however, Hangeng filed for contract termination from SM Entertainment due to harsh and disrespectful treatment. And, Kibum went on hiatus for group promotions in order to focus on his acting career. On December 21, 2010, Hangeng won the lawsuit and officially left SM Entertainment, making Super Junior a twelve-member group. On May 20, 2015, Kibum and Hangeng’s profiles were added to SMTOWN’s official application listed as members of Super Junior; what will happen next is still unknown. On August 20th, it was announced that Kibum’s exclusive contract with SM Entertainment had come to an end. Therefore, Kibum will officially leave the group as well as the agency! In the recent broadcast of Radio Star, Kyuhyun gave a surprising confession after labelmate Dana outed him for missing a week of practice at a musical they both participated in. The episode aired on May 4th. Dana made a guest appearance along with Lee Seung-chul, labelmate and Super Junior member Kangin, and producer Brave Brothers. During the show, Dana revealed that she had worked together with Kyuhyun in the musical The Musketeers but commented that the Super Junior member had been missing from practice for approximately a week. She followed with, “I thought he was gone because of an international schedule. April Car Accident: On April 19, 2007, Kyuhyun was involved in a car accident with Leeteuk, Shindong, Eunhyuk, and two managers. They were all hospitalized due to a serious car accident when they were returning from the Super Junior Kiss the Radio show that night. The driver lost control of the vehicle and the car flipped on its right side. Kyuhyun was sitting behind the driver’s seat when the accident happened, which resulted in him being the most injured. Ear Infection: During Super Junior’s Bonamana promotions, Kyuhyun went for surgery to repair the damage in his inner ear.
