Lee Tae-yong was born on July 1st, 1995, in Seoul, South Korea. He is better known by his mononym Taeyong. He is a famous South Korean singer and rapper. He is a member of the South Korean boy band under SM Entertainment NCT, and his subunits are NCT U and NCT 127. Taeyong was discovered by SM Entertainment’s casting agent in front of his school in 2012 and joined SM Entertainment through the SM Casting System the same year. He was introduced as a member of the SM Rookies in December 2013. Before debuting in October 2014, Taeyong collaborated with Red Velvet on the song “Be Natural.” On April 5th, 2016, Taeyong was introduced as the third member of the first subunit of the NCT boy band, NCT U. The group held their debut stage on April 15th, 2016, on Music Bank. On July 2nd, 2016, Taeyong was introduced as the third member of the second NCT subunit, NCT 127. The group debuted on July 7th, 2016, on Mnet’s M! Countdown.

Kim Ye-rim was born on March 5th, 1999, in Seoul, South Korea. Kim Ye-rim, or also known as Yeri, is a popular South Korean singer and rapper. She is the youngest member of the South Korean girl group Red Velvet. She joined SM Entertainment after auditioning at SM Global Auditions in 2011. She became part of the pre-debut group SM Rookies led by SM Entertainment, along with members of her group Irene, Seulgi, and Wendy. She also starred in the Red Velvet debut music video “Happiness” before her debut as the youngest member of Red Velvet. After four years of training, she joined the group with the promotion of Red Velvet’s first mini-album, Ice Cream Cake, in March 2015. Yeri was introduced as a new member of Red Velvet on March 10th, 2015. She made her first appearance with the promotion of Red Velvet‘s first mini-album Ice Cream Cake. From May 9th, 2015 to November 14th, 2015, Yeri was the host of the MBC music program, MBC Show! Music Core with Minho from SHINee and N from VIXX.

On Sunday, June 19th, Yeri uploaded a series of selca photos on Instagram. In one of the photos, the youngest member of Red Velvet wrote in the caption, “Yooonng… to be honest, I see you like this.” A netter on the Pann site interpreted this post as “code” for NCT U’s Taeyong. The netter was even more convinced when a user named “Ya Suka,” who was known as a Taeyong fanatical fan, or Sasaeng, apparently hated Yeri and often wrote bad comments about the singer of “One of These Nights.” Nevertheless, not all netizens argue that Yeri and Taeyong are dating. Other netizens considered that “Yong” in Yeri’s post was a call for fans. “Yeri uploaded 5 selcas on Instagram with 5 messages in each photo. All the messages are connected,” commented a netter. “The website doesn’t say that they are dating. There are no articles about them so don’t make it up,” said another netter. “But it’s strange that she (Yeri) suddenly uses ‘Yooonng’,” said another.
