According to www.heart.org, Min-Woo experienced “sudden cardiac arrest”, which “occurs suddenly and often without warning. It is triggered by an electrical malfunction in the heart that causes an irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia). With its pumping action disrupted, the heart cannot pump blood to the brain, lungs and other organs.” Seo Min-woo was only 33, and was not known to be dealing with health issues prior to his death, which is why his death shocked everyone. Top Media, which was founded by Shinhwa’s Andy Lee, released this statement in their website: “His family, the 100% members, and the TOP Media artists and staff members are all grief-stricken and in mourning from the unexpected, sad news.” Some fans were also seen mourning for him at his funeral. It was a devastating sight to see. Aside from being an idol, Min-woo was also known for being an actor. He starred in Sharp 3 (2006) and had a cameo in KBS2’s drama, ‘Marriage Clinic: Love and War 2’ (2013).
