Jo In-sung’s statement remained true as he later became the matchmaker between Song Hye-kyo and Song Joong-ki, who he is also friends with. The couple first met in 2013 during the shooting of That Wind, the Winter Blows when Song Joong-ki visited the filming set. Then, Jo In-sung recommended Song Joong-ki to the production team of Descendant of the Sun for the main cast along with Song Hye-kyo. Both of them ended up married in October 2017.
Song Hye-kyo’s Visit to Jo In-sung’s Drama Set
In August 2014, Song Hye-kyo made a surprise visit to her former co-star Jo In-sung at his drama filming for SBS’s It’s Okay, That’s Love as well as the drama director Kim Kyu-tae. The actress’ visit was informed by her agency on Twitter with the post “A sudden attack on writer Jae Yeol. Young who went to meet Soo oppa after a long time. One cut taken with director Kim Kyu Tae and lighting director Park Hwan. Everyone warmly welcomed us so we are thankful.” In addition, Song Hye-kyo brought a food truck for the staff and cast of the drama. Later, it was revealed that a lot of the staff worked on That Wind, the Winter Blows which made the reunion even more momentous for all of them.
