They constantly bicker with each other, however, their quarrels slowly turn into love and they begin to learn how to love each other. When they are officially in a relationship they become more intimate with each other. Despite always fighting and bickering they soon make up with kisses. Hae-soo has a fear of intimacy which makes it difficult for her to have any physical contact or skinship, such as kissing a man. Jae-yeol tries to overcome her trauma by persuading her to have intimate contact.

Both of them have their own personal wounds, but they try to heal through their relationship. But their relationship does not go smoothly because Jae-yeol’s mental health problems are more serious than they previously thought.
