On October 11th, 2017, The Boyz launched a special video titled “I’m Your Boy” for their fans before their official debut. The Boyz officially debuted on December 6th, 2017, with their first mini-album titled THE FIRST, with “Boy” as the title track. Quite successful with their debut, The Boyz made their first comeback by releasing a new mini-album titled The Start. The second mini-album was officially released on April 3rd, 2018. However, Hwall was unable to join the comeback because of problems with his health, and he took a break from the group for three months. After a temporary hiatus, Hwall finally returned to promotion with other members in The Boyz’ September comeback, with the release of their single “The Sphere.” Then, at the end of November, they released another song, “No Air,” which was the main song of The Boyz’s 3rd mini-album, THE ONLY.
