All You Need To Know About Ji Soo and Nam Joo-hyuk
Ji Soo was born in South Korea, March 30th, 1994, and Nam Joo-hyuk was born in Busan, February 22nd, 1994. Ji Soo started his career as an actor, and is currently attending Digital Seoul Culture Arts University, with a major in Film. Nam Joo-hyuk started his own career as a model in 2013, during the Song Ji-oh Homme Collection. When Ji Soo appeared on Knowing Brother ep. 43, he said that the first thing he does when he goes to Nam Joo-hyuk’s house is to lay down on his bed, and they watch TV together. Ji Soo and Nam Joo-hyuk are more like best friends, rather than a senior or junior, because they were born in the same year, and they could speak to each other with informal language. Ji Soo once said that they’ve known each other for 10 years, but actually they first met on the drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. However, Nam Joo-hyuk made his acting debut in 2014 on the drama Surplus Princess, and Ji Soo had a cameo when he made his acting debut on the drama To The Beautiful You in 2012. Ji Soo likes to impersonate Nam Joo-hyuk’s Busan dialect just for fun and Nam Joo-hyuk once mentioned on an interview that Ji Soo is his best friend. When Ji Soo and Nam Joo-hyuk appeared on Celebrity Bromance, they also showed their friendship by taking a trip to Busan, and they promised to meet in front of Seoul Station. Nam Joo-hyuk arrived early and had already bought tickets for both of them. It looks like this was Ji Soo’s first trip on a train. While they were on the train, Nam Joo-hyuk teased Ji Soo by saying, “Have you installed a seat belt?” Ji Soo innocently believed him, and looked for where the seat belt was, while asking “Is there a seat belt?” Conscious of being pranked, Ji Soo finally laughed with embarrassment. In the next time, Nam Joo Hyuk said to Ji Soo, “You remember what we always say, ‘What do you think we will be like for the next 10 years?‘” Ji Soo answered hoarsely, “We will be Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung“, referring to a famous best friends who are also actors. After singing EXO’s song ‘Growl’, Ji Soo said, “The concert yesterday was amazing.” Then Nam Joo Hyuk asked him, “Do you know why people fall in love with them?” Ji Soo replied, “They all look like comic characters.” Then Nam Joo Hyuk said, “You are also a good dancer.” They joked while showing funny dance movements. During the trip, Nam Joo Hyuk and Ji Soo had lots of fun conversations. In conversation they always joked with each other. And whatever they say always ended up with singing.
